| PFP Contracting has been actively involved with Kashagan since 2004, having completed the installation of passive fire protection in various countries including Italy, Bulgaria, Russia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. We have also completed an offshore contract in the Caspian Sea on D Island drilling rigs upgrading the fire protection system. Discovered in 2000, Kashagan at an estimated cost of $29 billion is the worlds biggest energy development project and one of the largest since Alaska's Prudhoe Bay in the 1960's. |
